What is Jesse Faux?

Jesse Faux is the internet persona I've come into over the years. The character is a representation of myself, not acting any different aside from being more confident as I feel more comfortable expressing myself through him. The channel, however, is what this section is about. The Jesse Faux YouTube channel has been a personal project I've never truly lost passion for. I could go on and on about the issues I've had during my time on the platform actively making things, but I could go on even longer about all of the great things I've experienced because of it. I'm proud of the things I make, and as long as I've made somebody smile out there because of me and my friends' shenanigans, then mission complete for now. Each upload has some history, and I could talk about all of the stand-out uploads for hours individually. The people I've met that I wouldn't have otherwise, even if they didn't stick around for long, have all been a treat to meet. Even the bad experiences have at the very least taught me something and helped me grow as a person. This all also helps me build some sort of portfolio, perhaps one as an entertainer?

I've always had a knack for being social, and my channel is a way for me to make people smile while having fun and being creative. There are content creators who truly put on a show, but they've got millions of eyes on them. For me, my small following is more than enough, definetly more than I ever imagined I'd reach with my stuff. There's a certain pride I have for my dumb little projects, I don't know if it's the progress I've made while making them, or just because I made them at all. Perhaps it is a mix of the two? Either way, it is a pride that fuels my confidence and creativity, and I couldn't ask for a better source of these feelings than video creation and (hopefully) entertainment. Who knows, as I go on, maybe this could be a source of income on the side?
